LUSH SKIN CONDITIONER : RO'S ARGAN BODY CONDITIONER

How can all this magical skin goodness fit in such a small little tub?

Who's Ro? A hound?

I can honestly not rave enough about this sensuous body conditioner by LUSH. 'Ro's Argan' is a soft and creamy conditioner that works wonders in giving your skin that supple, smooth and moisturised feel.
It is perfect for de-hydrated and dry skin, as it is literally packed with a bucketful of natural skin smoothing and moisturising ingredients.

You know your skin is hungry, give it some nourishment....yo...

ARGAN OIL is known for its nourishing and moisturising properties. Extracted from Argan tree kernels, it is often used in hair products to fortify and add shine to dry and damaged hair. Commonly sold in its pure form, the Moroccan oil is also noted to aid in treatment of juvenile acne. Many hair and skin products now include Argan oil as a vital nourishing ingredient, and this oil has become a huge hit amongst skin, hair and beauty advocates worldwide. (I often use the oil in its raw form as part of my body skincare routine....if that's even a thing)

COCOA BUTTER extracted from the cocoa bean (yep! the one that makes chocolate so scrumptious), and edible in its raw form, has a velvety texture and appealingly sweet scent. It is often used as a daily body moisturiser as it aids in the prevention of dry and itchy skin along with aiding in the treatment of cracked, chapped and burned skin. The most commercially popular cocoa butter moisturiser would have to be produced by Palmer's

CUPUAÇU BUTTER contains similar properties to its sister Cocoa Butter, extracted from the Cupuaçu superfruit that grows more commonly in the Amazons of Brazil. The white pulp of the fruit is known for its moisturising and highly hydrating properties. This pulp is used in many skin and hair lotions.

SKIN GOO! If only it was green and slimy!
BRAZIL NUT OIL extracted from the edible Brazil nut that's from?....you guessed it! Brazil (although many of the nuts are harvested in other parts of South America). Brazil nut oil is very similar to those oils produced by our skin and because of this is easily absorbed into the skin. Brazil nuts are a great source of beneficial fatty acids, Vitamin E and Squalene. The latter is a natural skin oil that helps to stabilise the structure of the skin.

ALMOND OIL is also commonly sold in its raw from and is highly regarded for it's 'skin healing' properties. Containing Vitamins A and B, it has been traditionally used by masseuses as a gentle massaging oil to lubricate the skin. It is also known for preventing dark under-eye circles, improving the general skin complexion giving your skin a healthier glow along with aiding in skin cell renewal. Hooray for skin cell renewing!!

SHEA BUTTER contains Vitamins A and E, and is known for its skin moisturising properties. The moisturisers in Shea butter are similar to those produced naturally by our sebaceous glands. It is also known to aid in healing the skin of wounds, and scratches etc, hence why it's commonly used on irritated and damaged skin. Shea butter has been used for centuries by women from Sub-Saharan Africa who are known for having smooth skin and its very clear as to why they've used it for this long.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

After washing, I smooth the concoction all over my body (from neck to toe), focusing on specifically drier areas such as the feet, knees and elbows, and massage it in for a few minutes. The aromas that fill my shower room are so decadent and heavenly, especially the Rose Jam scent.

After the conditioner has been mostly absorbed by the skin, you can rinse it off with some warm water, and you'll immediately feel the results as you touch your skin. As smooth as a baby's bottom! To preserve the soft and supple feel of your skin, pat the skin lightly with a clean towel once you're finished showering, as vigorous drying may lead to abrasion of the soft layer which is now sitting upon the skin.

I usually use this skin conditioner once a week, to top my skin up with these heavenly holy grail skin ingredients. This 225g tub could last from 1 - 3 months depending upon how frequently I use it.
I highly recommend this skin conditioner for those out there who are suffering from dehydrated skin, or just want a smoother and more supple feel to the skin. Made out of 100% natural ingredients, you can't go wrong with a little LUSH.
